Would love to turn Steveston into a Christmas Village during the season

Hi There! First I'd like to thank you for the wealth of information on this website. Although I have visited Steveton umpteen times, I am now a proud resident. I have an idea. Wouldn't it be great to give Steveston a lift by turning it into a Christmas Village for the months of November and December? It is such a welcoming quaint village, that I think it would suit it perfectly and... it doesn't have to be expensive. Not to mention, it would draw in more people during a slow period when merchants usually need the business. I think it would be a great welcome to Steveston, not only to tourists, but to locals, as well. So, what do you think? I look forward to your reply. Sincerely, Paula.

Great idea, Paula. There are some events aiming in that direction, but it relies on merchant participation, which is not always forthcoming.
