Will I Be Close Enough to Take a Cab From YVR to Steveston?

Hello, Sorry to bother you with this question, but your website is great and I'd really like to visit Steveston. I'm just going to be at one of the Vancouver airport hotels for one night and I'm trying to figure out if I'll be close enough to Steveston to cab it. And then, will it be possible to find a cab in Steveston to take me back to the airport area. Thanks so much. Tamara.

Reply: No question is a bother, Tamara. Steveston is a 15 to 25 minute ride from the airport or one of the local hotels in the area. Cabs are rarely seen in Steveston, but they are just a phone call away. Your fare will be between $30 to $40 approx. Print our Printable Steveston Village PDF Map, as it shows the main shopping streets in the village, as well as public washrooms and telephones (to call a cab).
