We are considering relocating to the Steveston

Reply: Thanks for the site comments, Ian. Like your website, Len. Checked out what you have to offer. Sales in Steveston, especially for gift shops and other merchants is seasonal and rents are high—$30+/sq. ft/yr. We are gaining a lot of new residents, young professionals with families and empty nesters, with above average—for Richmond—incomes. There are a lot of babies and toddlers here. There's been photo shops here in the past, but none right now. Other than embroidery, you'd have this b to c biz to yourself, but there is a company that offers b to b services that are similar to some of yours at http://www.promoplace.com/probizz. B to B, no storefront. There might be a market for your services within Steveston's 25,000 pop. catchment area, though I would venture to guess your business model would be more suitable for a mall, and there are no enclosed malls here in Steveston. Should you wish to see for yourself, you're more than welcome to crash here, a 15 minute walk to the village. I could help with introductions within the biz community. Housing is expensive in Richmond, and especially so in Steveston. I'm glad you like the website and should I be of further assistance, just email or call. Enjoy, D3
