Try somewhere else

This was the worst fish restaurant I've been to in a long time. If you want fresh fish and chips the food is great but, it is overly expensive in my view.

We wanted to have a nice meal with my husband's parents before his father goes in for chemo and radiation for cancer. I was skeptical about this place when we got a parking space right in the parking lot at noon.

The "shrimp on a croissant" was so bad no one could eat it. My mother-in-law was convinced it was bad. My husband said it was tasteless, mushy and there was no "snap" to the cocktail sauce.

To the restaurant's credit, when we complained they removed the charges for the shrimp meals from the bill... they were barely touched. But, that left a remaining bill of $60 for two plates of fish and chips (one with only one piece), 2 ales and 4 coffees. The washroom is up 19 stairs, which was impossible for the old folks to climb, and the handicapped washroom on the main floor was out of order.

We won't be going there again.
