This exhibition will provide the opportunity for emerging youth artists to have their artwork displayed in a gallery setting and gain exposure in the community of Richmond. The opening reception will be held Saturday February 28, 2009 at the exhibition's location: The Artisans' Galleria, 3651 Moncton Street in historic Steveston Village from 7:00 onwards. Refreshments will be served and prizes presented to the 1st and 2nd place winners selected in each category (photography, two- and three-dimensional work). This is a wonderful opportunity to support the participating youth and enjoy their amazing talents. The exhibition can also be viewed, at no charge, at the Artisan's Galleria Tuesday through Sunday, 10:00am - 5:00pm from March 1st to 15th. Please join us in celebrating Richmond's artistic youth as they showcase their talents in a gallery setting. The Community Arts Council of Richmond is a registered non-profit charity, dedicated to supporting the arts and artisans in Richmond, BC for over 30 years. It operates the Artisan's Galleria in historic Steveston, a venue for various exhibitions and its artist members to display and sell their work.
