Steveston's Best Fish and Chips, I don't think so!

The "Steveston's Best Fish and Chips" is the billing on the window of the Steveston Cafe in the Steveston Hotel. Well, having never eaten fish and chips there, I thought I'd give them a try. Many of their breakfast meals are A1, but NOT their fish and chips. The chips were crisp, but the cod was ok, but having been sliced so thin the batter was undercooked, limp and oily. With batter-thin fish, it was either overcook the fish or undercook the batter... they chose the latter. There was twice as much batter as fish, so not a good value or a good meal. Don't believe everything you read and skip this meal.
