ANNOUNCEMENT: Papi's Presents Dinner In The Market!—Papi's Ristorante Italiano has long been considered a local favorite, and although the restaurant was destroyed by fire earlier this year, locals in the know haven't had to forego their fix of wholesome Italian cooking. Papi's owners, Ken and Claudette Iaci cleverly converted their well stocked Italian grocery store next door in to a bustling bistro, serving intimate, gourmet dinners four nights per week in a charming market setting. From now through October, Papi's Market will serve dinner every Thursday through Sunday night.
Papi's creates daily handwritten menus feauring homemade pastas, Steveston's freshest seafood, a wide selection of BC wines and decadent handmade desserts. The opportunity to dine in the intimate market setting won't last for much longer, as the renovated dining room is due to opens its doors in October, bringing a bittersweet end to Dinner in the Market as Papi's rises from the ashes like the phoenix of Native American legend.
