Steveston iVillage introduces direct link to SHA Catch of the Day data

Whenever you see the handy dandy Catch of the Day button above, just click to find out what's for sale at the Public Fish Sales Float at Fisherman's Wharf. This service comes to you courtesy of the Steveston Harbour Authority. Steveston iVillage just links to their Public Fish Sales Float page for the Catch of the Day information, as well as purchasing tips on buying the freshest seafood available.

Over the years, we have received hundreds of calls and emails regarding off-boat sales and requests for what's available, hours of operation, etc. So, when we saw that the SHA was finally able to get this data published on their website, we rushed the Catch of the Day button online. It can currently be found on our home page.

The information is collected every weekday, but is currently not collected on weekends. Not all vendors provide their catch information to Steveston Harbour Authority, so some vessels may be marked down, but have no specific product listed. Also, vessels and vendors come and go as they please, so neither Steveston Harbour Authority or Steveston iVillage can guarantee that the listed vessels will be there upon your arrival. So, use the published data as a rough guide when planning to visit Steveston for your off-boat seafood purchases.
