Searching For Long-Lost Relatives

by Laurene
(Shuswap, BC Canada)

Well, to start, my family background is from Steveston. Mr. and Mrs. E. Corkill, who lived on #2 Road... Unfortunately, I have no information other than that. I wonder if there is any family still there? I know they had two daughters for sure and that eventually the girls married two brothers--Olsen--which is where my grandma comes into the picture (Dorothy Olsen). My great grandma is of native descent, I believe. She was a Jones. The daughters names were Ada and Agnes. Agnes was a seamstress (in Vancouver, I think). Surnames I'm searching for is Corkill, Williams, Newman and Carl Frederick Olsen and Charles Olsen, the brothers who married the Corkill daughters. Anyway, someday I will get there to check things out. Just have to be patient, I guess. Cheers from the Shuswap, Laurene (laga@telus.net)

Finding my father
by: Rebecca Childers

My name is Rebecca Childers and I'm looking for my father. I was 3 years old the last time I saw him and I am now 25. My fathers name is Jimmy Jay Farnell and the last place that I know of him living is Flordia. I just want to find him and get to know him and let him know that he now has four grand daughters that I would like for him to meet!
