This AAA service works for USA and Canada destinations, but remember, Steveston is a village, but is legally a neighborhood of the City of Richmond, BC which is the city you would need to use.
If you're visiting from out of town, you may be using public transit, or TransLink. Well, here, too, you're in luck, as many of the buses coming into Richmond also venture down to Steveston. Bus routes numbers 401, 402, 407, 410, 490, 492 and C93 all make stops on Chatham Street, one-block north of Moncton, Steveston's main street. Some routes operated during the weekday commute only, and most originate from and return to Richmond Centre. Most buses are low-floor, ramp equipped, so access for wheelchair users is almost assured. Even the smaller Community bus, C93, is lift-equipped.
So, no excuses now for not visiting Steveston, BC. It's a great little village, and a not-to-be-missed area when visiting the Greater Vancouver area. If you live in the Vancouver area, do yourself a favor and come on down for a visit. Don't forget the kids and a camera. See you soon!
