Richmond Tall ships information - 2011

The tall ship festival scheduled for 2011 has been postponed until 2014.

However please don't be disappointed as there are changes coming with regard to a return visit of the tall ships to Richmond. We have learned that although this years festival is postponed there is a scheduled events through out the summer that will include a visit by several tall ships.

I know it sounds rather confusing so let me try to make some sense of it for you. The "official" Tallships festival for 2011 is postponed until 2014. In it's place there are other festivals in Richmond where select tallships may visit. The City of Richmond website that we have linked to above has information on those other festivals and the Tallship Richmond 2011 website offers email alerts on which ships will visit Richmond this year and when.
