Review Update on the Steveston Hotel Cafe
by Dave Davis
Steveston Hotel Cafe
As it was late morning, I decided to have lunch. I ordered clam chowder (Boston style), and chicken pot pie. The chowder was thick and flavorful and actually had clams within. The pot pie looked similar to my chowder, but had chicken and a flakey crust. (Maybe they should make a clam pot pie.) They both hit the spot on this cold Sunday morning. The others ordered shrimp wrap with veggie soup; half-order eggs benny; and toast with a side of sausages. All selections looked great and I was told they tasted great, too. All-in-all, pretty decent grub for a little over $42 for four. |
