Reader wants to know when the 2010 Wild BC Seafood Fest will be held

Would you please let me know all about the 2010 Sardine Festival? When will it be held? Where? And any further details you have. – Donna. Reply:Thanks for asking, Donna. For the past couple years the former Sardine Festival has been known as the Wild BC Seafood Fest. The event will be held at Fisherman's Park, in front of the Gulf of Georgia Cannery at 12138 4th Ave., in the village of Steveston on Saturday, August 28th, 2010 from 10 AM to 5 PM. The festival celebrates salmon, sardines sable and other wild BC seafood. There will be cooking demonstrations, seafood for sale and other activities. This is a family-friendly festival, with face painting for the children and other activities.
