My friend, Jan, just lost a dear friend, Toby Vegas

by Dave Davis
(Steveston, BC Canada)

The bond between people and their pets is a special one. I know the heartbreak caused when one faces the need to say goodbye to that special friend due to illness. Jan, here's your tribute to your special little friend, Toby Vegas, may he rest in peace.

Oh, our friends, we weep with you
by: Steve and Catherine

Toby was a dear neighbor - one who could and would do the most amazing tricks, who would bark at the word "crow," who made his daily rounds at the park on the corner, who was a gentleman through and through. We smiled when we saw your "folks," but we grinned ear-to-ear when we saw you.

Toby, you were a good little man. We grieve with your family as if you were our own. We believe with all our hearts you are running free after those nasty black birds, just waiting for everyone to show up.
