Looking for catch of the day info

Hi. I Googled this website to find the names and phone numbers of "fresh fish for sale." I note sadly, that your site does not seem to have said number. Rather odd, seeing as how Steveston came to be due to fishing. At present, I would like to know the "Oulichan Situation." Are there any for sale? How about other fish, and a list of businesses and phone numbers for same. Thank you!

Reply: Thanks for asking, Brian. The Steveston Harbour Authority was supposted to have Catch of the Day info on their homepage, but is rarely published. Not sure if it's webmaster problems or the fishers not calling in their catch. I got permission to duplicate this list on this site, but what's the point. Our resident sardine fisher used to send me catch updates, which I published. I'm working on a solution, and if I can land a fisher or two, you may soon find that information on this website.
