Through his genealogy site, Allan Taylor found a number of distant relatives (living and "distant" i.e. Australia, Tasmania and England) who he didn't know about. So, All an decided to show them what it was like here. He created a web page of Lighthouse Park, and the Tall Ships visiting Steveston in 2002. When Allan was about to remove the pages, he had second thoughts, and decided to do a search online to see what there was on what he had, and could find very little. So, their—Alan and wife, Sandra—"accidental" website on Greater Vancouver Parks was born.
