John Yap, MLA call for volunteers

With only 25 days to go until the May 12th provincial election I am now in full campaign mode! I have been keeping busy going door knocking everyday and speaking with as many Richmond-Steveston constituents as possible.

I want to thank all of you who have given me support, not only on this campaign, but in the last 4 years as I stepped into provincial politics. Without a strong team around me I wouldn't be able to do this job.

Our campaign team is in full swing and we are in need of volunteers for many different positions. Even a few hours of your time is a great help to me and my team. Please take a look at the following list and let me know if you are able to take part in any of these activities:

• Daily Door-knocking with me (10am-12pm, 1pm-3pm, 4pm-6pm)


• Assisting in our daily phone banks to identify BC Liberal supporters


• Burma shaving on busy roadways to help raise election awareness (April 22nd )


• Data entry and administrative work in my campaign office


• I will need hundreds of volunteers for Election Day


• We will have Super Saturday events every weekend leading up to Election Day

Please also consider taking a lawn sign for your front yard to show support for myself and the BC Liberal Party. We need to do everything we can in the next 25 days to Keep BC Strong!
