Can you tell me if the off boat fish sales run all year? Reply: This is an often asked question. I was told by Jaime Da Costa, Office Administrator, Steveston Harbour Authority, that although the selection is better on weekends, the public fish sales direct off the boats is an all week activity. I find that most fishers fish during the week, returning to sell off boat Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as that's when many visit Steveston. So, knock yourself out buying fresh fish from the fishers almost any day you wish, but you'll have better selection Friday through Sunday from 7 ~ 9 am to 5 ~ 9 pm.
