My story starts with a 9 hour layover at the Vancouver airport. My partner an I thought we would make good use of this time by going on a small adventure. We went to the info booth and asked about a nice place to visit for a few hours and your village of Steveston caught our attention.Having grown up in a small fishing village in Nova Scotia (Prospect),and being a warehouse manager of a fish plant I was very interested. We jumped a bus and away we went.We had a wonderful day, walked around the village, had a nice meal and did some shopping. While visiting one of the gift shops, the one which has the entrance to the cannery display I read a catching piece on the wall about the working environment and how you should treat your co-workers,to that effect,I cannot remember exactly how it goes. However,I was wondering if anyone receiving this letter knows of this catchy phrase and if they do would it be possible to forward me a copy. Thank you Dennis Ryan |
