Christmas Tree Recycling: Bring Your Tree Back to Nature

Single-family dwelling residents can leave their Christmas tree at the curbside for collection on their garbage and recycling collection day. Please cut and bundle the tree into the 3 feet by 2 feet size limit. Please remove all tinsel and ornaments.

Christmas trees can also be dropped off for recycling at one of the following locations:

Garry Point Park
(corner of Moncton Street and 7th Avenue)
Dates: Saturday, January 2 and Sunday, January 3
Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Sponsors: Richmond Firefighters’ Society, City of Richmond, Richmond Fire-Rescue, Fraser Richmond Soil and Fibre, Richmond Review, Steveston Harbour Authority and Canadream RV Rentals

Donations are greatly appreciated and will go to Richmond Firefighters’ Society’s charities.

Days open: Wednesday to Sunday
Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 6:15 p.m.
(Closed on December 25, 26 and January 1)

Triangle Road at the south foot of No. 6 Road
Days/hours: Call 604-277-1410

Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society
Located in Delta. Use whole Christmas trees in their bird habitats. Call 604-946-3171 for more information.
