Can I buy fresh sockeye salmon during weekdays?

I am writing to inquire if you are able to buy fresh sockeye salmon on weekdays, as well as Friday to Sunday? Is there a particular day that is better than the others? Can you also give me an indication of the price this year? Many thanks in advance for your reply.

Reply: Thank you for asking, Jeanette. Yes, you can buy fresh sockeye, in season, during the week when boats are in, though there will be more boats from Friday afternoon through Sunday.

The weekends are always best. There are more boats selling on weekends than during the week.

I'm told the price is between $5 to $6 per pound.
