Anyone know what's up with the proposed Ladner bike ferry?

Hey there - just wanted to say great site! Me and my family have been Steveston residents since 1997 and we love it here! I have two young children (4 and 1) and I think it's such a great place to raise your kids. I saw your site adverstised in the community newsletter and I was hoping to find some information about the "bike ferry" that goes to Ladner. At least - I've heard about this bike ferry - but I can't find any tourist info on it on this site. Do you know anything about it or who I can contact for info about when it runs, etc? As for your question, as far as I can ascertain, the bike ferry is a proposed project, and not in operation yet. If you find out otherwise, do let me know.
